...and I don't care! HAHAHAHA I'm getting a cell phone with a 2 megapixel camera and an MP3 player! I am, for the first time in my life, not taking the phone that comes free. I am spending $175 to get a phone that I have been drooling over for a week now (retails for over $400, so I don't feel quite so bad over it).
Seriously, I have been having quite the case of technology envy after returning from vacation and seeing everyone around me with their cute little slim phones and cameras, while I have a big bulge in my back pocket from my Nextel i710 and three year old camera model. I tried to get a slim little Samsung, but I couldn't with my rate plan. The phone I'm getting is still a little clunky, but who cares if it has all that with it. As for my camera, I'm content with it. I'll get a new one when something goes wrong with this one. It's a Sony cybershot 5 megapixel and it's been very good to me. Besides, if I every REALLY need a little camera, I can just borrow my dads

I have a Treo 650 that was more costly than yours when I got it. I don't know if it helps, but I've been a Palm PDA user for years and years, and this thing actually "saved" me money from having to buy two devices.
On top of that, the Palm PDA is how I keep track and manage all of my personal finances. In my opinion, that alone is enough for me to justify it.
Even though we're in the era of the iPhone now, I still prefer my Treo over it. I'm not after the fanciest gadget on the block. I'm after what works best for me, and it's the Treo.

BA - I just knew you would chime in on this post. I just knew it
katwoman - I am usually the same way. That's why is surprised me so much that I wanted this so badly! But as with everything else - cars, clothes, etc. - I could really give a hoot.
