Yee haw! It's been a while since I've had one of those. Shoot, DH is sitting beside me and just told me he spent $1 on a diet Coke. Bummer. Way to rain on my parade. Actually, I have to write a check to my mom today too for past expenses, so I guess this wouldn't have been a no-spend day anyway.
I have started a daily to-do list. I don't remember where I read it, but the idea was to start with one thing to do each day. Then after it's become a habit, add a second, then third, etc. until it's second nature to get through your to-do list everyday. It might be something little, like make a phone call, or something big, like clean out the closet. The point is to write it down and commit to getting it done. Today is the first day since I have started that I missed my goal, only because I was supposed to deposit some checks in the bank but I forgot to take them with me to work today. It turned out okay, though, because two more checks came in the mail today It will go on my list for tomorrow.
DH and I are heading down to Binghamton tomorrow to see his grandparents, who just returned from Florida. So...I probably won't be back around until Sunday. A great weekend to all!
