complain, complain

March 2nd, 2006 at 08:10 pm

Ok, I just reda a magazine article about a woman who has really taken to writing letters to compliment/complain when something goes really wrong or really right. She has gotten some amazing responses, like phone calls from the president of a company. It really struck home. So often we let things go when we shouldn't, or fail to recognize those who should be applauded. So today I finished another letter to Nextel (they denied me a credit after my first letter and basically called me a liar), which I am also sending to the Better Business Bureau, and I wrote a quick e-mail to Leapfrog. I have five Leapfrog toys - two are great, two are broken, and one uses batteries so fast that I just stopped using it. So it will be interesting to see if these go anywhere.
I also am bidding on E-bay for a few things I need. I won a lot of scrapbooking items for $6 total - probably would have cost $15-20 at a store. And I am also bidding on a lot of 3 boy's pajamas. I need to get some 3T two-piece jammies for ds1 now that he is getting better at using the bathroom at night. They are about $10 a piece new, so if I can get them for $3-4 used I will feel good about it.
That's all for now - my mom is watching the kids tonight so DH and I can go out to dinner, so I thought I would write a quick entry now. We are going to stop at Lowe's to get some things to redo ds1's room (chalkboard paint, molding). It's been on our to-do list for a few months now, so maybe we'll actually get around to it soon. Have a great night everyone!
